Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACE) organized its 14th Annual Science and Technology Fair on 8th and 9th December 2022. ACE organizes this two-day fair every year to encourage innovation among budding engineers and school students in the field of science and technology.
This program could not be organized during the years 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19. Total 1709 students from 40 schools including Air Force School from Ambala, Army Public School, KV No. 2, 3 & 4, Indian Public School, Lord Mahavir Jain Public School, Major RN Kapoor DAV Public School, Farooqa Khalsa Senior Secondary School, GSSS BC Bazar, Taneja Public School, Nand Lal Geeta Vidya Mandir, DC Model Senior Secondary School, Arya Senior Secondary School, PKR Jain Senior Secondary School, PKR Jain Girls Senior Secondary School, GSSS, Police Line, SA Jain Senior Model School, SA Jain Senior Secondary School, Ltd. Tulsi Public School accepted the invitation with pleasure.
Polytechnic, Samlehari, GSSS, Cygnus High World School from Saha, GSSS from Mullana, Vishwas Public School from Shahabad, Satluj Senior Secondary Public School, DAV Senior Secondary School, GSSS, DAV Centenary Public School, Blue Bells Senior Secondary School from Narayangarh, SMB Geeta Senior Secondary School , Shivalik International Public School, DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Shahzadpur to GSSS, Girls Senior Secondary School, Dev Polytechnic College, S.O. MS Senior Secondary Public School from Barara, Shemford School and Indian Public School, Jagadhri and Delhi Public School visited the two day technical fair. Apart from visiting the fair, various schools also displayed their working models. The chief guest of the program was Sudhir Kalra, District Education Officer, Ambala and the guest of honor was Taneja Public School, Ambala.
The guest of honour was Dr. Arun Goyal. Other dignitaries Nalini Kant Gupta, Managing Director, Advanced Microdevices Pvt. Ltd., Ramakant, Director, EPIC, ACE, Dr. Ashawant Gupta, Director, Prof. P.K Soni, Dr. Kamal Kumar Sharma, Principal,ACE, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Dean Academics, ACE, Group Captain C.S. Sharma, Registrar, ACE, Ajay Pal Singh, TPO, ACE, were present during the event.
All the Students from various schools displayed their projects on both the days. The judges evaluated the projects presented by the school students and declared the winners on both the days.
Here are the results: Project Distance Meter, Radar System and Neuron bagged the first position respectively from PKR Jain Girls Senior Secondary School Ambala City, Cygnus High World School Saha and Satluj Senior Secondary Public School Shahabad.
Projects Anti Sleep Alarm And Smart Irrigation System from Lord Mahaveer Jain Public School Ambala Cantt and Cygnus High World School Saha got first position. Project Wireless Power Transfer and Manufacturing of Ceiling Tiles using Stubble, in SA Jain Senior Secondary School Ambala City and Indian Public School secured the first position. Army Public School Ambala Cantt, Tulsi Public School Ambala City and SA Jain Senior Secondary School Ambala City secured second position in the project Anti Sleep Alarm, Joystick Controlled Chariot and Distillation.
