Programme Educational Objectives

To impart theoretical as well as practical knowledge to the students in the field of Computer science so that they will be able to apply acquired knowledge.

To become a successful computer professional one should have strong fundamental, theoretical knowledge of basic sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Electronics sciences and Environmental sciences. Students will be prepared to demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts by being able to define concepts in the core of computer science such as: algorithms, models, notations and languages, operating systems. They will also be able to explain how these concepts are applied in the real life problems.

To make students aware of latest open source technologies which help them to develop application specific software with less cost.

In Modern era of development computer has become an essential computing tool almost in each and every business activity. Key issue to usages of computer has always been cost of computing software or solutions. Open source technologies like Linux, PHP, Mysql, Android etc. are widely used and accepted in industries. The awareness of such technologies which are freeware and may help a technocrat to design and develop software with feasibility. Objective has been set by department to use and promote usage of such technologies to benefit society at large.

To provide adequate training and opportunities to work as team on multidisciplinary projects with effective communication skills which makes students industry ready.

  • Knowledge about current requirements and trends in industry is very much essential to serve society in effective manner. Objective of the programme will be to train students so that they feel confident while appearing for interviews and various competitive exams at different levels.
  • Students will be prepared to demonstrate knowledge of basic principles, methods, techniques, and models for controlling projects by carrying out a few project developments. Students will also participate in project teams to demonstrate skills and diversity in project management. Students will appreciate the necessity of teamwork and work habits in a timely manner.
  • Our objective will be to inculcate ability in the students so that they communicate effectively in speech by giving oral presentations of their work to the class audience and using appropriate technology. Students will also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in writing by presenting the results of their projects in various written reports to the instructor

To prepare students for research and development activities in their profession with high regard to societal, legal and ethical responsibilities.

Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of professional and ethical standards and participate in at least one activity such as Science fair, Engineers day, Blood donation camp other events organized under Computer Society Integrity of Individual Work: Students will demonstrate ethical responsibilities and integrity in individual work submitted as projects.
