Program Highlights:

Background: The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program aims to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge in various aspects of business and management. The current industry demand for skilled professionals is dynamic, requiring specialized skill sets that align with the changing trends. Additionally, the increasing need for cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among students has become essential to keep up with the changing dynamics.

The program is being carried out in collaboration with EPIC (Entrepreneurship Promotion and Incubation Council) and Wadhwani Foundation. EPIC is a Not‐for‐Profit Centre, promoted by Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACE) through its parent body, Shri Ram Swarup Memorial Trust. Initial funding was provided partially by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, under its scheme NIDHI-TBI, National Institute for Developing and Harnessing Innovations ‐ Technology Business Incubator.

The Wadhwani Foundation operates in various countries, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and East Africa, with a focus on sectors such as technology, healthcare, education, and agriculture. The foundation collaborates with governments, educational institutions, industry associations, and other stakeholders to implement its programs and initiatives. The foundation’s mission is to accelerate economic development in emerging economies through job creation, skill development, and entrepreneurship.

Program Description:

This Unique BBA program, managed in partnership with EPIC and Wadhwani Foundation, has a threefold objective of establishing triple career paths for students: one focused on employment opportunities, other on nurturing aspiring entrepreneurs and third one is for higher studies in premium institutions of India and abroad. This program is designed to provide students with the essential skills, knowledge, and resources needed to navigate the evolving industry landscape. By doing so, it aims to enhance students’ prospects for employability, particularly in the specialized fields of HR, marketing, sales, finance, banking, and logistics management.

To create specialized pathways for BBA students that align with industry demand and specialized education.
To equip students with the necessary skill set to transition into service as well as entrepreneurship.
To prepare students for a rapidly changing job market and motivate for higher studies in premium institutions.
To enhance students’ employability prospects and provide them with the necessary toolkit to start a business.

Career Pathway Creation: This program offers three distinct pathways, each tailored to suit your individual aspirations and career goals. Whether your passion lies in the service sector, igniting entrepreneurial ventures, or pursuing advanced studies, we have you covered. For those inclined towards the service sector, our program equips you with the skills and expertise to excel in industries such as hospitality, healthcare, tourism, and more. If your entrepreneurial spirit yearns to create, innovate, and lead, our business pathway provides you with the essential knowledge and resources to launch and grow successful ventures. Harness your creativity, hone your strategic thinking, and transform your ideas into profitable realities. And for those with a thirst for knowledge and a drive to reach new heights, our higher studies pathway prepares you for advanced academic pursuits.
Skill Enhancement Workshops: The program team will conduct specialized workshops to enhance student’s skills and knowledge, such as mock interviews, resume building, networking, and business planning. By receiving extra mentoring from EPIC and the Wadhwani Foundation, our students have the chance to develop a well-rounded skill set and gain a competitive edge in the job market as well as start-up. This mentoring goes beyond the classroom, offering personalized guidance and support to help students thrive in their academic and professional pursuits.
Monitoring and Evaluation: At our program, the dedicated team will be actively engaged in monitoring and evaluating the project on a regular basis. This rigorous process aims to ensure that the program aligns with its desired outcomes and objectives, fostering continuous improvement and effectiveness. The team will diligently track the employment and entrepreneurship status of our students, recognizing the importance of their post-program success. By closely monitoring their career paths, we can identify any areas that require additional support or intervention.
