It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACE). The department was established in the year 2002. The department has experienced and well-qualified faculty members, well-equipped laboratories such as Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, Communication, and Microwave Engineering Laboratory, VLSI Design Laboratory, Microprocessor Laboratory, Embedded System Design Laboratory, and Antenna Design/ Simulation Laboratory, etc. The department has indigenously developed MEMS/Microelectronics research laboratory which is a unique feature. A large number of students of B.Tech/M.Tech have completed their projects/dissertations by working sincerely in this laboratory. Some of them perusing higher education are doing excellent research work in the field of MEMS/Microelectronics, due to their passion towards research and strong basic knowledge of the subject. The department has been continuously growing since its establishment with an aim of preparing the students to excel in the industry and be successful in higher studies.

Department has organized various co-curricular/extracurricular activities like extempore, debate, technical/non-technical quiz, circuit simulation, junkyard, etc. under the aegis of IETE (Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) Student Forum for the overall development of students.

We are committed to give our students an outcome based education through outcome based teaching and learning process which provides them an environment to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the programme. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to implement practically the principles learned in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories which help students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals.

This website provides an overview of the academic programs, research activities, various laboratories, and profiles of faculty members. We hope that whether you are a prospective undergraduate or graduate student, or work in industry, or another Institute/University, or a visitor, you will find this website informative.
