  • What is the counseling fee? Is it refundable?

    Counseling fee for participation in online off-campus counseling is Rs. 500/- and is non-refundable. It is mandatory for all the candidates participating in online counseling to deposit this counseling fee through www.hstes.org.

  • Is there any reservation for economically poor students?

    5% seats of sanctioned intake per course in each institute is reserved for economically poor students under Tution Fee Waiver (TFW). The annual income of parents should be less than Rupees 6.0 lakhs

  • How many seats are reserved for Haryana candidates?

    In every Govt./Govt.aided/Uni.deptt./Pvt. Instt. (who have surrendered their 25% Management & NRI quota seats ) 85% seats are reserved for Haryana candidates. In case of Pvt. Instt. who have not surrendered their Mgmt. Quota, 63.75 % seats are reserved for Haryana candidate. For details about reservation policy, refer Chapter “Distribution of seats” in respective brochures.

  • What is the minimum eligibility and basis of admission for degree and diploma courses?
    Course & Duration Basis of admission Eligibility
    BE/B.Tech Inter-se merit of rank of JEE-2018 conducted by CBSE Pass in 10+2 with Physics & Maths as compulsory subject
    alongwith anyone of the following: Chemistry/Biology/Bio-
    Tech./Computer SC. (Obtained atleast 45% Marks in the above
    subjects taken together, 40% for SC Category)
    B.Tech Biotechnology Inter-se merit of rank of JEE-2018 conducted by CBSE Pass in 10+2 with Physics & Biology or Mathematics as
    compulsory subject alongwith anyone of the following:
    Chemistry/Dept. at a glance./Computer SC. (Obtained atleast 45%
    Marks in the above subjects taken together, 40% for SC Category)
    Lateral entry to 2nd year of BE/ B.Tech Inter-se merit of online entrance test (OLET LEET(Engg) – 2018)
    conducted by HSTES
    Obtained at least 45% (40% for SC category) in Diploma in
    Engg./Technology of a duration of 3 years or more from Haryana
    State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent.

    OR

    Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE
    approved institution or B. Sc Degree from a recognized University
    as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the
    first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the
    first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are
    exhausted.

    OR

    Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by
    UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC Candidates) and passed
    10+2 standard with mathematics as a subject

    • I am Madan Lal father of Shivam Kalra . My son is a student of Ambala College of Engineering . He is a final year student in mechanical engineering department.  The things that I like about this college are that the college is very good in academics  and the focus on studies is very good.  The faculties are very sincere regarding the studies of the students.  Apart from that the no profit policy of the college is also quite helpful for the needy students.

    • I am Rajiv Kumar father of Mansi Sharma who is a student of Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research , Devsthali .She is in fourth year , Mechanical Engineering Department.The most unique thing about this college is the transparency from management and very helping faculties and lab staff.  The students are free to perform any kind of lab work that they are willing to do and they are provided full support from the faculty members. Apart from that the interaction with industry resource persons is also quite helpful for the students.

    • College is good if compared with other Engineering Institutes in Haryana. Hostel Facility is also provided. Wardens and Caretakers are awesome, Food, Room and other Facilities for Hostel are also fine.

    • Great College in this area good reputation and great placement record. Good results in past years. Hostel facility is also available. Only drawback is someway away from highway but auto rickshaw option is available.
